Sarah Churcher recently enjoyed the most wonderful stay at The Scarlet Hotel and Spa, Mawgan Porth near Newquay, Cornwall. She hasn’t stopped raving about it since she came back 3 weeks ago. A haven of relaxation, wonderfully attentive, quietly understated service. Simply delicious, locally sourced food for menus that change daily, including “the cooked to order breakfasts”. Superb vegetarian dishes also for all meal times.
The hotel enjoys an amazing setting overlooking the bay and further out to sea. Book a hot tub and enjoy a glass of fizz whilst soaking up the ozone and view! Or take a dip in the natural pool.
The hotel has a private suite that can be booked for small meetings or private dinners. It has a terrace area (seperate to the one below in the photograph) that benefits from sea views where you can break from the meeting for a coffee break or lunch or take a pre dinner drink as Sarah did with her party.
As for the Spa, Sarah has relaxed in many over the years but has voted the Spa at the Scarlet …”simply the best ever!” Wonderful tailor made Ayurvedic treatments. Peace and tranquility abound throughout the whole Spa area, not just in your treatment room.
